Re: Screenmode, 4.1u3
I noticed now, that pressing ramiga d will choose a 1280x1024 screenmode, ramiga l but also ramiga r will pick the 1024 one. I suppose only ramiga r is "correct", ie. what the program was meant to be doing. So you are probably right about that default.

Screenmode, 4.1u3
I use a 1280x1024x32 screenmode for Workbench, which is native to my display. VGA type connector is used. However, when I choose last saved in Screenmode preferences program, the highlight goes to a 1024x768 mode. The board is a Radeon 9200 model.

Re: [BUG] Notepad locks up hard with RAMIGA-V
Is this true for 4.0 final NotePad? Since that version (rather 52.1) works (just wait for maybe 1 second per 100 kB).tonyw wrote: I had a look at the code, but it uses ARexx to execute every menu command (including Cut/Copy/Paste), and I can't follow it. It looks like a job for a NotePad expert.

Re: Usbctrl Restart freezes system
Interesting because Pegasos 2 is supposed to have fully working USB _hardware_, unlike (many?) A1-XE boards.kas1e wrote: Then i try "USBCtrl START" and plug off/plugon my usb stick again (just in case maybe restarting not works) : still no icon on WB, and no assigned device in system.

Re: Big bug on NotePad or in Workbench/Intuition ?
I have a similar report to cha05e90: slow to move, enough to cause hiccup in TN local Vorbis playback, but resizing worked. 1280x1024, AmigaOne, 128 MB graphics memory.

Looks like it's set to 75000 bytes, though.ssolie wrote:Python has a stack cookie so you probably don't need to worry about it.

python stack size
Is there a way to set python stack size globally without touching DOS preferences? 512 KiB is doubtfully enough anyway; even the docs mention 800+.

Re: Recorder hit DSI
I've never used the "recorder" I haven't used it much either, I prefer stdout redirection. It's a 4.1u3 system. Of course the syntax isn't "correct" in the latter case, this is so a single alias might be used. 1. Opened shell window by FKey. 2. Entered "recorder TO RAM:reco...

Re: USBCtrl fails
Wouldn't the several disks multiboot work with the Kicklayout BootDevice option? That's how I boot anyway with my single HDD. Only one Kicklayout file is ever used for various AmigaOS 4.0 and 4.1 configurations. I suppose the downside is that system installers thus far don't cater for it. My OS 4.0 ...
