Application Package Woes
Hello, I have pondered for a longer time whether packages that appear on not only OS4Depot but elsewhere should be packaged in a uniform manner - especially applications. So the questions and issues raised here are not only relevant to Orgin (who I believes is the current maintainer of OS4Depot), bu...

AmigaOS Gource
Hi,
I believe I might be addressing Rigo when I ask this.
Any chance of seeing a new gource video showing AmigaOS development uploaded to YouTube? I'd like to have a peek at what the development team has been up to over the last 12 months.

AmigaOS Suggestions in particular, AmiDock, Push4Dock + ASL
Hi all, I have a couple of suggestions for improving AmiDock, perhaps they have in fact been addressed already in Update 3 or will appear in 4.2, ok so here we go. 1. When opening a subdock all other open subdocks should close. 2. When adding an item to the AmiDock positioning information of any sub...

Re: Horrendously large file cannot be deleted
@Slayer Yes, it was all quite random, its not something you can easily replicate. Thanks man, just booting up now, I'll give it a go. Edit: Okay file deleted, details of what I noticed: Workbench showed it as a Project file, Shell showed it as a directory. I ran Delzero <filename>, unable to open fi...

Horrendously large file cannot be deleted
Hi all, I can't remember how this came about definitively, but around 6 weeks ago I tried to delete a regular file from a JXFS partition, I believe it was just a jpg or some other image type, Workbench refused to delete it. From what I can recall Workbench was already in the process of deleting a bu...

Re: AmigaOS4 bug list from amigan.1emu.net
I agree with abalaban, there needs to be some documentation for the python installer if you want to encourage people to use it. Reading back on the previous page I can only deduce that I should find this install.py and copy it to my application's directory, open it and play around. I did manage to l...
