Re: Kinda disapointed, need to share my views
Turns out the video card and the S-ATA card are so close to each other the system overheats and crashes. Had to use an extra fan to fix this (so much for the "silent system") AFAIK other users have this kind of combination without the need for extra cooling... OS4 is not the rock solid sy...

Re: How to use 2nd screen, the one behind workbench?
Is this a bug? No, it isn't. Perfect and usual AmigaOS behaviour since the first 1.x releases AFAIK. It *is* in deed unusual for non-Amiga users, but you'll get used to it. It might seem undetermined what happens to which screen in which state - but there is indeed a logic behind this... ;-) Your &...

Re: Disable screenblankers
If you register your application to the system via application.library you can disable screen blanking - this is often referred as the "game mode".

Re: AHI : Changing setting cause sound trashed
Must be something special to your setup - I don't have this problem, be it my SAM440ep or Pegasos II. With both the beeeeep is perfect after fiddling around with the setting in AHI prefs...

Re: SDK 53.20 install broke on my system
That would make sense. Perhaps they think it will dusrupt the Unix underpinnings of shared objects? On Amiga we don't put version numbers in file names. Seems a bit crass compared to a normal library. Indeed. On the other hand, just make a shell script or use DOpus4, select all your SOBjs in SObjs:...

Re: SoundFX and OS4.X ... possibility to get work?
Which version of SoundFX did you try to use? I'm running version 4.3.94 just nicely on both my SAM440ep and my Pegasos II.Maybe this thread at amigans.net is helpful: http://www.amigans.net/modules/xforum/v ... &move=next

Somewhat irritating: You're *not* doing a cold reboot, but a warm reboot.DavidMiga wrote:by typing "reboot warmreboot" or "reboot warmreboot sync"

Re: Big bug on NotePad or in Workbench/Intuition ?
I tried that and must admit that moving and resizing the window is really jerky und jumpy - but resizing work (and moving as well). Tested on a SAM440ep (Mini, 667 MHz). But I had a lower resolution (32BIt, compositing enabled, 1280x1024).

Re: Icon Scaling engine *feature request*
@abalaban exactly, but with the current fontengine seems not possible to do that right? I tought simply to choose the icons that have to be left in its original size (bigger or tinier no matter), like the list on "Compatibility" program for petunia... Maybe this could be implemented in &q...
