Re: Context Menus stop working - When the CAPS LOCK key is d

I am using the AmigaKit provided keyboard. I can confirm that every time the Caps Lock light is on I get the WB menus and not the Context Menus. Take off the caps lock and the Context menus work again. Indeed interesting. :-) And I can confirm that both my Sam440ep (mini), AmigaOS4.1 Update 4, Amig...

Re: Context Menus stop working - When the CAPS LOCK key is d

For some reason the Context Menus do not work if the Caps Lock key is depressed. The RMB in this case does not seem to get redirected to the CM but just activates the Workbench menus. Really? Not here. Never had problems with CM and it works here with both my AmigaOS 4.1 Update 4 systems with or wi...

Re: Can minimized apps shrink to right side of desktop?

Kind of like Unity Desktop or Gnome 3.4 Desktop found in Linux Naa, this is "like AmigaOS/Workbench 1.3". :-) With Release 2.0 the default drive icon etc. side changed to the left side. AFAIK there's no "option" to switch between different default behaviours. This might be a fea...

There is a RDB on OS4.x-prepped HDs and the partition table is stored there.
Yep, I know. I should have been clearer in my description: the RDB isn't used as known from the 68k world, read: reading the active filesystem from RDB.

Re: the new OS filesystems...and partition resizing...

the drive in question is the second drive, I will have a 160GB "boot" drive and would like to convert this drive .... there is no requirement or need of the SLB to be installed onto this drive at all... So, what is it? A "boot" drive? Then you have to install the SLB. If it's no...

Re: Kinda disapointed, need to share my views

Guess i've been spoiled by Windows and got lazy but if we want to have a system that anybody can use we got to be able to install and run something with a double-click. Yep, that's Amiga. :-) By the way: the other amigaoid operating systems aren't different in that respect. It has always been that ...

Re: Aone 500 freezing

Ok heard from a friend that there is a bug in samba thats eating all memory. you should remove the line samba:bin/nmbd under sys:prefs:internet/servers I have the same Samba version running on my A2000's, SAM440ep and Pegasos II for *years* now without any problem. There should be no need to remove...
