Re: Sam460 with SII3512 and two harddrives = freeze

Spectre660: Did you try to lower the SATA speed? Like for example G, UDMA 6 to e, PIO 4. SOLVED! I forced the HDD 2 (SSD) to e, PIO 4. Booted and managed to copy all files from both partitions without freeze. Solution for using two HDD on a Sam460 with Sii3512: In Uboot: Before: sii3512ide_xfer = GG...

[SOLVED] Sam460 with SII3512 and two harddrives = freeze

Sam460ex with Uboot 2015a. sii3512 (two SATA ports) AmigaOS 4.1.8 (FE update 1) Usually one HDD and one DVD. Now the plan is to migrate from Sam440 to Sam460 so the DVD is replaced with the old HDD. I just need to copy the files from the old HDD to the new HDD. Uboot is changed from sii3512ide_conf ...

Re: Timer device 'opening flood' bug in OS4.1FE update1

I let snoopy run to cover another bug in another program and i can confirm that this timer.device spamming seems to come from another os part, as i'm getting the spam from AmiDock, CANDI and literally any program that is performing some tasks, e.g. ContextMenus. The timer.device issue you see in th...

Re: Internet Preferences & Losing Network Card issues

@broadblues: or you just tell your gateway/router to lock a certain MAC-address to always get the same IP from the DHCP pool. Probably the easiest way if supported by the gateway.

I would assume so, yes.

Re: Open for business

Customers have started to receive their AmigaOS serial numbers so this forum is now open for business. Awesome! Any idea how to obtain one of these mythical serial numbers? I purchased a Cyrus board from A-EON over a year ago and have been waiting patiently for a semi-usable version of the OS. All ...

Re: X-Surf internet connection

I have tried to connect directly to my router, and notice that only the yellow network light is active and never the green. When connecting to a Netgear WiFi extender or secondary router, the Amiga is not listed as connected at all. BR/Hotblack Yellow LED usually means 10 Mbit (instead of 100 or 10...

Re: Roadshow TCP/IPv4 to include IPv6?

Your ISP should provide you with an IPv4 address for your LAN, behind your modem/gateway. WAN side = IPv6, LAN side = IPv4.
