Re: Any possibility of using a Canon Pixma MP620 multi print
Clearly this is an impostor. HKvalhe left the Amiga scene months ago. Someone must have hacked his unused account here . I can tell you i am NOT an imposter. It is actually me. Yes, i HAVE left, but i'm also trying to convince Hyperion and other important Amiga companies that things as full printer...

Re: Logical Unit Addressing in Firmware (SOLVED)
Thank you Darren! You cleared up the muddy water for me. My DVDRW and SATA are still where AmigaKit put them. The booting issue and crash at boot was my mistake as mentioned. I have since reformatted and reinstalled my drives in AOS (correctly, I may add). So with your response and fixing my boo, bo...

At CFE> prompt plugged my USB Thumbdrive containing VMLinux-4.0.7 Kernel into the Front Right USB Port. CFE> ramdisk -addr=0x24000000 -fs=iso a...

Good News vmlinux-4.0.7 Booted R7 250x
Hi Christian!! During my x1000 recovery I found mistakes I made as I mentioned in another post. One mistake was my Monitor setting, I presume. My Monitor was set to sRGB Mode instead of Standard Mode. Still connected via HDMI. So I just tried booting Ubuntu Remix with the 4.0.7 Kernel. Watched the b...

Logical Unit Addressing in Firmware (SOLVED)
Hello Christian and to all! Okay, so, I had a crash after getting Ubuntu installed. Learnt a lot along the way of recovery. Found several mistakes I made during the system install of my hard drives via AOS. That being said, installing Ubuntu also made me look closely at the CFE/Firmware screen scrol...

Re: Ubuntu Remix Install for R7 250x Cards [SOLVED]
I can now stand up and take a bow! I turned on my x1000 to "Not A DOS Disk in Unit sb0". Glad I read up on this Forum, Documentation, Epsilon's blog and WIKI over the past several months. Forgot to semicolon IDE and CF0 lines in Kicklayout. Just simply backed up my 2nd 80 GB HD to my ext ...

Re: Ubuntu Remix Install for R7 250x Cards [SOLVED]
So, After a few hours of beating my head, I realized that my CF Card did not have an MS-DOS Partition Table, it had an Amiga Partition Table. "Filesystem Not Recognized" After that, everything is well. Hope this will help someone. I'm back in the Linux saddle again! :D Thank you Chr...
