Re: AmiDock

This looks like a reasonable request. I'll fill out an enhancement request for AmiDock. No promises when it might be implemented, though.

Re: AmigaOS Gource

You might see some things that people might not want you to see ;-)

But the extra that's been added in the last 12 months would only be a few seconds on the original. To see any real difference, we might have to wait for a few more years.

Re: Installation instructions for Picasso IV Addons

Back in the old days when OS4 was still available to betatesters in 68K mode (before it became PPC only), I had it running on my A4000 with Picasso IV, Concierto and Paloma. I was never able to get the add-on drivers to run under OS4, although they ran fine under OS3.9. I don't remember why, and I d...

Re: 8 bit screenmodes not always working

@mpiva: Please be patient. It may take a while before someone has the time (and inclination) to start pulling his own system to bits just to check whether he can duplicate your problem. Which driver are you using? You are using a PCI-e video card, but are you using the original beta RadeonHD driver ...

Re: Info on releasing the pubscreen lock

To give an example: if a program opens on a user-defined public screen that is set to "Open/Close Automatically", the screen will get closed right after you iconify the program. The program then has nowhere to return, and naturally locks up the OS when you try to deiconify it. Is that rig...

Re: Virtual gadget effects

Tested with virtual.gadget V53.6 and it's still faulty, so I'll raise a BZ for it.

Bug #7142 opened.

Re: popupmenu causes intuition freeze

I think you'll find that error code is applicable to any illegal memory access, whether it be misalignment, private memory, unallocated memory or whatever.

Re: AutoDocs Obsoletes

Both terms mean "This is old and out of date, don't use it in any new code. It will continue to be supported so that old programs will still run." "Deprecated" has the additional property that it raises a Warning when gcc attempts to compile it. If you have -Werror in your gcc co...

Re: UBoot update for AmigaOne

Don't remember any "timing" bugs. The main problem with the "GUI" version was that it left out support for booting some types of HD (can't remember just what any more), so it was pretty limited in what it could boot. Are you sure someone in Melbourne had a copy of it? AFAIR there...

Re: SilverGreen Theme problems

We've had a lot of phantom problems "caused by" special themes and GUI settings. I've had several reports of crashes or lockups "in the console" when some theme was selected. In all cases the problems disappeared when the standard Intuition settings were restored. The "conso...
