Re: Drag'n'drop between apps
What might be quite interesting to me would be to discuss specific examples where these would be used. The reason being that examples then present solutions. So if you can add some examples that would be welcome. OK, well the simplest one is an email program like YAM which shows the attachments as ...

A small update
Well an update from a user's perpective: 1. The new Firefox finally left behind the heavy chain on its neck (TB also) and feels kinda light again and effective. Grab it while you can - version 35, either from a system update or from here (launchpad): https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-mozilla-security/+a...

Re: Unarc Destination Path
It's an intrigue. I don't particular like the tooltipe pref changing and prefer a more direct approach that is more intuitive, yet it helped me learn more about the system and reintroduce myself to certain elements while also managing to change the .def deafult tool even before I read how to do it i...

Re: Kernel 3.18
"CONFIG_USB_EHCI_ROOT_HUB_TT is not set" Hi Srtest, Does the usb hub work with the kernel 3.18? Cheers, Christian Unfortunatlly it didn't improve the situation albeit AOS4.1 has the same issue while it has a soft reboot/reattaching the peripherals as a viable solution. In the meantime I'v...

Re: Kernel 3.19
It was expected. They look to do away with problems which concern general users that perhaps work to our advantage... In the next kernel they plan major overhall of crucial parts so maybe we should prepare for that. I think that if the latest kernel that works which is quite new + the latest distrib...

Telling it straight
3 items: A. Can this be added to the OS? => http://www.amigans.net/modules/xforum/viewtopic.php?topic_id=6291&forum=3&post_id=88109#forumpost88109 I find it quite usefull and as a QT app it works faster than its counterpart app on Linux. From what I can see development has seized. B. Regardi...

Re: Bug in Screenmodes Prefs
I have the same thing. At first I set a 50Hz on a separate monitor file for an analogue monitor dedicated to Amiga gaming and after playing a little with it and trying various modes while also testing a Picasso96 mode I've picked up on a forum from a known manual about playing old games on CRT, the ...
