There are no tools for SFS\2.

Re: Trying to install SATA hard drive in AmigaOne

Does this mean the card is faulty or incompatible? It's either a sii3 0 12 (does exists, but I don't know what it is exactly, siliconimage doesn't provide any information at all about their hardware any more without a NDA), a broken sii3112 (header type undefined, status parity error, no resource r...

Just more time and a higher probability for the bugs in JXFS to destroy the data.

JXFS doesn't work, use another file system.

Re: Sam440 refuses to boot startup-sequence

I am lost here I have no idea what to do now, so I hope some one here can help me. Check your keyboard and mouse, or remove them for testing. Skipping the startup-sequence can be done by pressing the <ctrl> key or the middle mouse button and you may have a broken keyboard or mouse sending it withou...

Re: Why absolute soft links?

I can live with that, it should also allow it to work with existing filesystems, i'll see what I can do. I can't, I just did some tests and here is a simple example of something you broke with your soft link changes: 3.sfs2:> makedir a 3.sfs2:> cd a 3.sfs2:a> echo test > b 3.sfs2:a> makelink soft c...

Re: Why absolute soft links?

The second most obvious problem is that it was not possible to move a relative target softlink with Rename() because the reference would no longer be valid for a relative softlink target string after it moved, so dospacket based filesystems generally return ERROR_IS_SOFTLINK if a Rename() is attemp...

Re: Why absolute soft links?

Also, everyone has the expectation that when you create a link to something, you are creating a link to THAT specific something and in no circumstances will it magically change. Wrong, that's only the case for hard links. Soft links don't have a fixed target, they are just strings. It's similar to ...

Re: SiI3114 on Sam 460 EX

No, the numbering is the same (wrong) order. I didn't only mean the numbering, but the U-Boot sii3114 driver being limited to 2 ports. It's strange that it tries to access ports 2 and 3 if it doesn't support them anyway ... Maybe the Sam460 U-Boot supports the sii3114ide_conf variable, although it'...

Re: SiI3114 on Sam 460 EX

I have a sii3114 card in my AmigaOne 500. The settings I have for it are s4sii_maxbus=1, and boot1=s4siicdrom, and boot2=s4sii. What is strange about this card, is how the drives have to be connected. I have the DVD drive on port 0, but my hard drive is on port 2. For some reason, I could not get p...
