I might have found a way to get the codec chip to do it internally. I'll show you what I have in mind at AmiWestLyleHaze wrote:The HDAudio chip in the X1000 does not offer audio monitor abilities.

Re: Best set up for Audio Recording + MP3
BTW , If I use HD-Rec ( http://www.hd-rec.de ) I can hear some monitor sounds with HD-Audio. But with some Delay Echo and Ripple. If it helps for future work. HD-Rec takes care of copying the input(s) to the output via its own software mixer. There shouldn't be much of a delay, not enough to be not...

I think you're right, pressing the shortcut of any tab twice activates the first gadget contained in that tab even if it has a different shortcut or none at all.

Re: Spare U-Boot
Hmm, I didn't look into it as far as accessing the network card. To use a PCI network card it looks like it requires the proper #?.device driver. The 3C905C-TX seems to have the PLCC socket while none of the RTL8139 I can see on google have a PLCC socket but an option for supported cards with DIP so...

Re: Debian time for Chicago Fights AmigaOS4 time
I embellished a commonly available program from the 1990s called rtc.c. It is really bent out of shape when IRQ 8 is not enabled for interrupts. Sure enough, (see below) it is true, but why is IRQ 8 required? Remains a mystery for the moment. On x86 systems IRQ 8 is used by the rtc chip alarm to br...

Re: Spare U-Boot
You could try to send a PM to Geri or Billt on aw.net to see what the current status of the hw is. Both are online regularly. I also did some digging as I remembered seeing a FlashTool command in C: and it appears to be for some PCI and IDE boards such as the ide-flasher from http://www.loet.de whic...

Thanks for the detailed report, I'll add entries for what hasn't been reported already in bugzilla and see if I can fix some of them.

Re: Mixer contents to be in Commodities?
It's up to you, if you don't like having it in there you can move it elsewhere and adjust the IMAGEPATH or SKIN tooltype.
The only thing it needs is the images drawer so you could have only the Mixer exe and images drawer in Commodities.

Re: Spare U-Boot
The normal procedure would be to use a programmer, some are cheap, e.g. Willem, and support many chip formats. To do it in place, as the A1 can't initialize the system with a blank uboot, you'd have to power on with the working chip and load the updater in memory then hot-swap it just before startin...

Re: PCIe-Sound and or Networkcards for Sam460 ?
The PCIe Juli@ XTe *should* work. If not, someone might have to send me one to add support for it in the Envy24HT driver. If you don't need pro-audio quality some PCIe cards with the CMI 8738 chipset exist but they're hard to find. Likewise, they should work with the existing driver otherwise I can ...
