Re: Linux X1000 newbie
I don’t have any problems with compressed kernels but if you have problems with them, then I will change back to uncompressed kernels. Please test the uncompressed kernel 4.19.1. I think it is not needed change back to uncompressed - I will test some fast usb sticks - maybe it helps, and if not, I ...

Re: Linux X1000 newbie
I have tried booting from two different usb sticks and from the cf card. It is pretty much the same in all cases. That is it miraculously works sometimes, but mostly not. Booting with my X1000 was at first also magic. I have two boot devices - usbdisk0: with fatfs and cf0: with ext2. Before I exper...

Re: Linux X1000 newbie
Is there even a USB 3.0 port on the X1000? And if so, does it work as 3.0 under Linux? (as opposed to OS 4, which doesn't support 3.0). Niels there is originally no USB3.0 port. But you can use PCI-e x1 USB 3.0 card and connect to blue USB ports on top of the case. It was discussed there few years ...

Re: Debian Buster/Sid PPC64
Thank You Xeno, it works!
I install also lxde desktop and it works also (see pic).
I have one question - why do you use ext3 in your image?
I converted it to ext4, but is there some advantage of ext3 over ext4?
thanks

Re: Qemu
I don't have Windows 95 installed. But I have found a good guide about installing Windows 95 on QEMU. Download: Installing_Windows_95_on_Qemu Many thanks. I tried it, but the problem is the same. After installation of sb16 driver onw95 it hangs. Maybe there is problem with bios. In Hardware window/...

Re: Qemu
Hello, I use Qemu on my X1000 and run win95. But no sound.
When I run qemu with sb16 support, and install win95 driver, it hangs. Pls, what is right config?

Re: Pegasos2 Tips & Tricks

Re: filesysbox ntfs ubs massStorage problem
The MorphOS "solution" seems a bit strange. Can you still access that file normally with czech character missing? What happens if you already have a file with the same name except that this character is missing? I tried it with several filenames: Y-ň.txt Y-ř.txt Y-ťďň-ŤĎŇ.txt Mos omits on...
