Do you use a CF inside in the X1000 to boot the Kernel ? or boot it with the FFS-Boot-Partition on the HDD. I get the same on mine but I use an X1000. On my rollback it takes me to 2.22 though and not 2.24 like you say is yours. Wonder why yours is 2.24 and mine is not rolling back to that? I haven't seen the 3.5.7 kernel, but I have been testing 3.5.5 for a couple of days, so I can give some feedback on that. My graphics card is a Radeon HD 6570. With 3.5.5, it works really well.
