Re: Update 3 Strange extra icon when dragged in RAM
I don't know about all these particular settings, But I dragged a directory icon from another partition (with some files in it) into the ram disk of a freshly installed 4.1.3 installation and the ghost icon appeared... I hadn't changed anything in the sys config so everything must be factory set alr...

Re: Warp3D DSI crash in OS4.1u3 on Sam440ep-flex
Where can these distributions be obtained?
I can try and reproduce your problem on my 733Mhz Flex, if I can't I may have to re-install my 800Mhz MB.

Re: Are extenal drves compatible with AmigaOS?
Why don't we just write a JXFS implementation for windows? not that I'd use it but you never know LOL I have 3 external USB drives a 500MB a 1TB and a 1.5TB (1 western, 2 seagate - The seagate are great for just sliding out of there housings the western wasn't so accomodating) They all run JXFS and ...

Re: OS4.1 fails to install on AmigaOne SE
Have you tried removing any or all PCI cards except a possible Graphics card have you tried using a different harddrive? I don't think size or position really matters in the more modern Amiga (my SAMs have always run off a 10g first partition, it is of course at the start of the harddrive though) Ha...

Re: Large_File_Support
Thanks Tonyw
I for one have always thought its rather odd there isn't more interest in this, I guess it only hinders "power users?"
e.g. I will download 720p because 1080p is 2.5 gigs in size...
I will do what I can when I'm able too

Large_File_Support
Hello everyone Some of you may have remembered I started a thread a while back relating to Large File Support in MPlayer or similair and just wondering do we have this built into our SDK and if not are we going too, or (excuse my complete ignorance in such matters) is it completely unrelated? ;) We ...

Re: Using SSD in uA1 is it OK to use SWAP?
You have to bear in mind that SSD drives only have a certain "write" life cycle. If you was to run into the swap memory often, this could reduce the lifespan of the drive. Simon Yeah thats what I was worried about. Whats the performnance like without SWAP? I've never used a SWAP partition...
