Re: CSPPC scsi controller HELP
Unless your 68-50 pin adapter has upper byte termination (it is not mentioned in your description), then you have incorrectly terminated your SCSI chain. As you have an UWSCSI device before the 68-50 adapter, you need to terminate those extra bytes existing in the UWSCSI as opposed to the Narrow SC...

Re: Need help for setup RTL8029
It seems that Amiga filesystems write something like RDB that normal Windows full format cannot erase. Is SDformatter also destroying everything to make Amiga see that drive as empty again. I ask this because I have installed OS 4.1 Classic now 5 times and I still do not have working copy of it beca...

Re: Need help for setup RTL8029
Card is Kingston CF/4GB brand new taken out of the box yesterday, but I changed to other card reader and it made backup more reliable. Same error still came few times, but I got plenty of working backups done. Card reader FUJITECH 7355970201291 performed much more reliable than MediaLounge P/N: CR20...

Re: Need help for setup RTL8029
If you have a PC running Windows and a CF reader and it is not a problems to remove the CF card from the A4000 then Usb Image tool. I use it for making backup raw images of Amga filesystem formatted devices. http://www.alexpage.de/usb-image-tool/ USB Image Tool gives following error after backup is...

Re: Need help for setup RTL8029
Well, I believe you can have more than one functional NIC at a time but can I ask one question and make one suggestion? Does the 8029 work in OS 3.9 (does it work at all)? Could you try it as your sole NIC in the system? As an aside, a USB NIC dongle will give better throughput, and the Ariadne II ...

Need help for setup RTL8029
Getting my Amiga 4000 to internet now is just too much when I have not used Amiga with internet after 1996 or something. I have 3 NICs plugged in RTL8029, RTL8139D and Ariadene II and I fail to understand what should I do to set up RTL8029 or Ariadne II to go online. Local Area Network Next Automati...

Re: Way to increase Zorro 3 autoconfig address space?
Is there any way to put the ZorRAM before the mediator or after the pIV? Calgor may answer if this is possible with 4000T Mediator. In my case with 4000D Mediators it is not possible beacause MEDIATOR PCI 4000 can only be put to slot silkscreened MEDIATOR PCI SLOT because it is the only slot where ...

Re: Way to increase Zorro 3 autoconfig address space?
In this case ZoRAM is configured to use 256MB, so the start address of its memory use would be a multiple of 256MB. Using broad numbers as an example, say the next available Z3 address space was 1.1GB - the ZorRAM memory would start at 1.25GB thereby wasting the memory between 1.1-1.25GB so that it...
