Hi,
On my X1000 I experienced such bad behavior in the past with I/O operations, and it seems that the sata cable was the issue in my case.
Follow Raziel advise and check if nothing is unseated inside the case.
Regards,
Xavier.

Re: Updates do not work properly
@Amiguy,
I can ensure you that the french catalog from Os4depot.net still works with AmiUpdate 2.45. I tested it again.
Be sure to copy the french catalogs on a fresh boot before launching AmiUpdate.

Petrol

Re: USB flash FAT32 and usb external NTFS drive
Hi, It seems that the AmigaOS USB stack or another component can't mount disk partitions over 2TB currently, USB2 or 3 doesn't matter. For your 1TB disk, if it is empty, try to format it on a OS other than Win10. Some users reports that some of there disks didn't work when they were formated with a ...

Re: X5000
Hi, Only 2Gb of RAM can be used in Workbench, but some softs specifically programmed for AmigaOS4.1FE are able to use more RAM because they're using ExtMem feature (fe: Sketchblock from Andy Broad). Some soft are able read the amount of RAM sticks available physically (Ranger?). File system recommen...

Hi,
You should contact Hans De Ruiter, the author of the Radeon driver, directly. On his web site, there is a compatibility list for AmigaOS4.1, but I don't know if it is up-to-date.

Re: Maximum power output from USB ports?
Hi,
On my own experience, I've got 2.5" Hard drives (USB2) that works on AmigaOS4, USB3 ones don't, even if they are plugged on a USB2 switch. They are seen by the USB stack but they are not mounted into AmigaOS4. Otherwise under CFE, content of the disk can be se browsed!

Re: General Device Failure, Hard drive issue?
Hi,
I'm not able to see the screen capture you attached, but first, chek your sata connection, unplug and replug them, they are a bit instable on the X1000 sometimes.
If it doesn't cure your problem, it can be an other hardware issue as ram sticks, or a nearly dead Hard drive :/
Regards,
Xavier.
