Recently my X1000 refused to boot also with some strange serial output, different from time to time, with reboot or halt at board init, with sometimes error indicating that no VGA valid board were found, and sometimes nothing att all. I suspected my GFX card and replace it with the old one ...

Is the motherboard working without any HDD or sata cables connected?
It could also be a faulty ram stick!

Hi,

Check also your sata cables, unpluged them and re plug them. Power off your PSU and push to power button of the case to discharge the motherboard.
Power on your PSU again and then the case's power.
Check also the coin battery.

Maybe you don't have an APPDIR entry for Odyssey in "envarc:Appdir/ drawer"?
I've tried it again here, and it works as expected.

Alternatively, You can add Odyssey in FILE's tab of URL preferences program like this:
Client Name : ODYSSEY
Path : APPDIR:ODYSSEY
Command line : "*"file:///%s*""

If swap partition is enabled/available, it should appear in the available pagers.

I wasn't sure of the ram setting, especially EM feature, on Classic.

Be really careful, you shouldn't modify any of the ram setting.
But if you want to test and modify the Block size value, just type :
Sys:kickstart/ram-handler.kmod BS=Value between the min and max
