OS3.1.4 32-bit utility.library?

Hello.

Just wondering, does the OS3.1.4 utility.library have CPU32 optimised 32-bit/64-bit functions? In functions for multiply and divide.

Re: New Shogo install keeps crashing on launch

Yes, I probably should have taken a closer look in the error check code when I ported the launcher to OS4. :-) It's one of those things. So many things to check. I tend to think it would be a good idea to have some kind of structure or taglist passed to one function that opens all resources ...

Re: New Shogo install keeps crashing on launch

can you please compare it with the one from the archive and see if it is still ok ? Hi and thanks for your help. It was surprising to see an error and a crash as usually when an error is detected it is displayed before a quick exit. I just checked and the ShogoLauncher.wizard file was missing! I do...

New Shogo install keeps crashing on launch

Hello. I recenty purchased and installed the full OS4 Shogo 1.9 archive. I unpacked to my HDD and ran it from there. I've just been getting into it and learning how to play it. It ran fine for the first few days when I loaded it but now the launcher just crashes. I thought it may be because Odyssey ...

Re: USB floppy drive

Ubuntu 10.04 doesn't show the USB floppy drive but you can mount it with the command udisks . For example: udisks --mount /dev/sdd That's strange. I've tested my old Ubuntu 9.04 install on my X1000. Running with a 4.19 kernel. And the USB floppy drive mounted disks when inserted. I did have some is...

Re: Exec Bug Report

The casual user should never be presented with an alert, I would receomend never using them in new software But Andy, the yellow and red alerts are a classic of the Amiga generation. Just isn't the same without the red guru meditating. ;-) Most common cause of a GR fron a receverable alert is a 010...

Re: Exec Bug Report

You can also get a stack trace from the GR which you couldn't from the plain old yellow alert, so you are better off, especially if the alrt was thrown up by the system, rather than directly from your own program. You can. But in the case of a recovery alert the system should still be working fine ...

Re: Exec Bug Report

Interesting suggestion because the documentation says that if the requester fails to open, it will revert to an alert. Now we have an infinite loop, don't we. Revert to an alert. LOL. :-) I wouldn't say something about IExec-Alert, because it is meant to show an error code. Displaying this in a Gri...
