Re: Command Voice Interface
While a complete voice recognition suite like Siri etc. is a mammoth job, something closer to "voice tags" is far more feasible, where the software doesn't try to translate speech into text, but instead matches sounds it hears to a list of known sounds and reacts accordingly. VoiceAttack ...

Command Voice Interface
Instead of SIRI or Cortana, why can't we have a spoken AmigaDOS interface, or CVI? It would function much the same as the CLI except that you would be speaking the commands, options, and paths into a microphone. With enough scripting (ARexx, Python, or AmigaDOS) perhaps it could be a little like SIR...

Re: CUPS Printing System to AmigaOS4
Perhaps Hyperion or A-Eon could get in touch with the TurboPrint team and license/update/port to OS 4.x?

jit javascript library
While the Odyssey team has been working out the endian issues, I thought of an idea. Rather than have a jit javascript interpreter built into a specific web browser, why not have a stand alone jitjavascript.library that could be used by any browser that calls upon it?

Re: SAM460ex J25 audio expansion
I never received a response either on this site, or from ACube. After waiting a while, I got an EnvyHT card.

SAM460ex USB and Kryoflux
I have asked for help on both the Kryoflux forums and directly to ACube. Here is my problem. I've been trying to read my collection of hundreds of Amiga disks (DD 880k, HD 1.76MB, and DiskSpare) on the Kryoflux with a Sony MPF920 and NEC FD1231T. So far, I have not been able to read a single disk ou...

Re: Delock PCI Express Sound Card 7.1
@ Interrogative Your card looks pretty similar to mine. I don't think we've already utilities to test channels others than main left/right. About the quiet sound, if you setup the card correctly in AHI, did you well plugged the cable shown on this picture : http://www.vantecusa.com/gl/product/show_...

Re: Delock PCI Express Sound Card 7.1
Good day, I set up my Vantec PCIe 7.1 (an Envy24DT) card according to your instructions above. I have a 5.1 surround sound speaker set up connected to my card. I only get sound out of the first set of L-R speakers. I have no center/bass or rear speakers working. In addition, the sound is as quiet as...

Re: Single slot graphics cards?
No offense taken. As with any delicate electronic operation, I use poff (powering off). I then switch off the PSU from the back. I hit the power button on the front of the case to drain any residual juice. Then, if I am thinking about it, I put on an antistatic wrist strap. I am not sure what happen...
