is the most current amissl part of the update 3 archive? i think so.

Internet connction works again after replacing these file from the backup before installing Update3

It finds some updates, but then when it goes to second update server, it prompts me to login for "AmigaOSUpdateServer" so I logged in with ...

update 3 also shipped the latest amiupdate contribution archive.
that one fixes the (so far known) connection problems of older amiupdate versions.

i don't see a reason why this should not work.
there is no new kernel/exec included because the A1222 already has the newest one installed.
but all the other stuff is of course newer. anyway, prepare a good and complete backup before installation!!
i have no idea what happens when installing over an ...

i see the same error.
there was a server move two weeks ago where some of the hyperion servers took part.
AFAIK also the amiupdate database.

maybe there still is a problem? i notified the responsibles. let's see how fast they can react.

first of all you need the latest amiupdate (i guess you already have installed it): v2.55
then, most important, you need amissl v4 to be installed for using it with amiupdate.

you can grab v4 from here:
https://github.com/jens-maus/amissl/releases/download/4.12/AmiSSL-4.12.lha

just install it ...

seems so.

i mean finally the dns entry is working again and the servere can be reached. but it shows nothing currently.
i hope rigo is working on this issue.
