Ok the system cant find amigaboot.of,
I did setup BHD0: as just the standard drive, then formated it in AmigaOS CD, place the amigaboot file into it, is there something I'm missing?

asi for where I see 53.14 its in the download area and the name of the file
(AmigaOS4.1FinalEditionUpdate2-53.14.lha)

So now i got my X1000 running after installing ES2.1 I am running into a few little issues so, I ordered a SSD and decided to start a fresh install.

Three questions.

Q1. I notice on my Download Area I have X1000InstallCD-53.27 iso, and a
update to the two patch's Final edition update1 & 2, at the ...

So it’s new year day had nothing planned, so thought it’s about time I take a deep dive look into x1000, removed everything, gave it a really good clean, replace sata cables, replace battery, crossed fingered, and hay it boots no issue yet!

Thanks for the encouragement, I think I just got fed up again about another day I have to spend troubleshooting rather than playing around with os4.

so been enjoying my x1000 again recently, but I did get the odd crash or what seemed corruted files, anywho, thought it was about time I open up the old girl give it a good clean to see if it fixed the issue, it did'nt, it made it WORST :shock:

So at first I got no boot sceen...nothing, rechecked ...

it is a shame that the OS is kinda broken up like this now, but as long as there are ways around it, its not the end of the world and there a great community support (tell you what it better than most other bigger industry's, so thanks again!)

Hi so I upgraded my X1000 with a Radeon 7970HD a while back,
just before I update to AmigaOs4.1FEupdate2 I thought Id best check my old AmigaOS 4.1 Update 7 setup works , that I had made when I last did a big update, so I can least boot into that and restore my current setup (AmigaOS4.1FEupdate1 ...

Not holding my breath, but is there any news on when the OS might get another update and whats likly to be inculded or whats been work on at the moment? I mean I guess A1222 support is high on the list but other than that is there any news that can be shared on whats happening with OS4?
