Update 5 fails to boot

Hi all

After I have made a reinstall of OS4.1 update 5 I get stock at the boot screen!
My computer tries to boot but after 1 sek to 2 it restarts.
I Can also see my cyberstormPPC SCSI is back again?
It was disabled when installing OS4.1.2
I have tried 3 time got same result!!!! works up to update 4 ...

Hi

I have been away for a while!
But have found out if I use hdtoolbox in OS3.9 says that (RDB) must be updated if I do this and restart in OS4.1 I can again use Media Toolbox but I have to say no to update (RDB) as if I do I have to use hdtoolbox in OS3.9 again?

Media Toolbox locks when reading scsi.device (RDB)

Hi all
To be on the safe side tested two hard drives but with the same result.

Everything works as it should when the hard drive set up the first time.
But when I use Media Toolbox and choose scsi.device the system locks when reading (RDB).

Everything is done as described in the manual.

Sorry for the late reply!
But have checked the second network card "Micronet RTL8029as"
It has The following VENDORID 0x8029 and DEVICEID 0x10EC

It is understand correctly.
It sounds good you Will insert it in the next update.

I can confirm that your description worked.
So now I've got my Network up!

I have not read VENDORID and DEVICEID from my Micronet RTL8029as yet.

Will try it tomorrow and give notice.

So I got me another 8029AS as described above.
But unfortunately with the same result :cry:

So I'm becoming very frustrating.
It is display fine in RANGER.

What can I give of data so that some can help me.

So I've just bought another on eBay

It are as following:
Micronet SP2082A UTP RJ45 BNC 10Mbps PCI Combo NIC network card Realtek RTL8029AS

It should come next week!
Hope this will work?

Will let hear from me when I tested it

I've now tried without my Radeon graphics card.
It gave the same result unfortunately.

I have also inserted the cards as described in the FAQ

Mediator PCI 4000 Slot: Mediator Logic board (Bottom Slot)
PC I1: Nework Card
PC I2: Graphics Card
