Re: How to utilise full 256MB of Gfx RAM within AOS4.1?

I guess you mean 128MB of ram? :P But no, you will probably never be able to utilize all the memory on your card. Afaik they gave up on that many years ago and i doubt anyone will continue to work on that again. I think it was possible to buy cards with 256MB in one memory bank and that should work ...

Re: HDD broken.

The easy way to load a new set of kickstart modules that are not on the installation cd is to simply just create a usb stick with a kickstart drawer and start from it :) and then if needed to start from cd boot from that when the kickstart is loaded. All kickstart modules should then be located ther...

Re: Anoying "Network Log Output"

Hi Maybe you have multiple netinterfaces in devs:netinterfaces? If not i dont know but i would delete everything in the netinterface drawer and start over again. Just launch sys:prefs/internet and add a new interface, if you have dhcp on your network it's not much you need to do, iirc just add a new...

Re: Splash Image

Yes it's correct.
The picture is hardcoded into the bootimage file in the kickstart drawer.
It's not possible to change it by just copy over some other image.

Re: Warp3d and AHI problem on Pegasos 2?

My Pegasos is up and running again and i also have those audio glitches but they are not very common.
I had to play wings battlefield for a couple of minutes before i heard the glitch.
I have my cpu slightly overclocked, maybe that helps?
What demo is it in your video?

Re: Is it possible to use the TG-3468 with the X5000?

This is the ranger output from my TP link PCIE card. http://safir.amigaos.se/bildgalleri/users2/17394_RangerTPlinkETH.png It has been working great for years. I dont know if it's a TG-3468 since i dont have the box anymore. The driver looks for the following PCI ID's VENDOR DEVICE ============== 0x1...

Re: Warp3d and AHI problem on Pegasos 2?

I can't remember hearing that beeping sound from my pegasos so i guess it works for me and my combination of card and revisions. I mostly used it without any speakers connected/running so i might have just missed it. A quiet computer is a good computer ;) My machine had one of the better motherboard...

Re: X5000

@Tonyw

You could call it an feature, everytime you launch odyssey it's like launching it for the first time! :D
And if you find it troublesome just install it on another partition with sfs.

Re: X5000

Have been using Odyssey on a NGFS partition for over a year now with no problems. The version on my system is 54.34 dated 09/11/2016, haven't a clue if that's the original or not. You probably just haven't noticed it :) http://forum.hyperion-entertainment.com/viewtopic.php?f=57&t=3826 http://forum....

Re: X5000

I recommend using at least 1 non-boot SFS/02 partition, as some applications don't like being run from NGFS (Odyssey, Amicygnix, I think Timberwolf). I must protest Davey! All those applications work just fine on an NGFS partition. Were it not so, I would have fixed it. Yes you have fixed it but AF...
