Re: AmigaOS 4.1 FE classic and dual GFX board configuration (Radeon and Voodoo 3)
Same here, i also would like to use the radeon för os4 and voodoo för classic os.
I think i even started a thread about it many years ago.
Anyway the answer i found was "no"
It does not even help to disable the voodoo driver in the kicklayout.

Re: X5000 uboot
Hi.
I dunno where to get a new uboot, i guess you can ask your dealer about it.
But i doubt it very much it will help with your problem.
I would put the install cd on a usb stick instead of using cdr to begin with as it's much faster way and then try again.

Re: amigaOS 4.1 FE and A4000 64mb Hack
i'm just guessing here but i remember failing the first time i attempted to install os4 classic many years ago and probably ended up with something similar.
The problem was that i failed to install the filesystem properly, i think i wrongly assumed that media toolbox would add sfs to the rdb.

Re: sii3114ide.device
Have you entered any uboot variables for your sii-card?
i recently installed a sii3112 in my X5000 and it did cause some startup-issues until i read the documentation and entered variables suitable for my setup.

@levellord
I have one last crazy idea :)
What about if you unplug your keyboard and mouse and start your X5000.
Will it boot all the way into workbench then?
My idea is that maybe the middle mouse button or the key on the keyboard that makes it boot without startup-sequence is stuck or simply is ...

Hi.
Is your system partition bootable?
You can see a list of bootable partitions from the early startup screen.
Also check if your startup-sequence has the correct protection bits.
11.RAM Disk:> list s:Startup-Sequence
Directory "s:" on Sunday 10-Jan-21
Startup-Sequence 1117 ----rwed 22-Dec-20 ...

Re: Mui x5000
For MUI you might need to close all MUI apps before installing it.
Or even maybe do a reboot and then install it before starting any MUI apps.

Re: X5000 Fails to Boot Anything Now
Hi
Start with setting the amigaboot_quiet=Y variable to N just as roland sugested and post your results here.
We'll get it going again :)
You can even put a kickstart directory on a normal fat32 formated usb stick and load the kickstart from there and then load the rest of the os from your hdd ...
