I've done a clean install from the OS4.1 CD again. Everything works fine in 4.1 update2. I installed update 3 directly after and again I have the same issue. It wasn't a completely clean install. I did set up a few things before I did the update, Poseidon, for one.
I'll try it again tonight and see if the same thing occurs.

heh, that is not correct, but sure sounds logical :) I *thought* OS4.1 for classics, as delivered on CD, included update 1 and 2 already.. It did come out after update 2 was out didn't it?
