Hello Dirk-B, i have a Aone SE, too.
It works with update1 to update6.
But you must disable after every update the uhci.usbhcd and ehci.usbhcd.
I never manged to get USB with the Aone SE stable to work.
If you want to use onboard IDE with DMA, you must look at your VIA IC.
The VIA 82C686A works to ...

Just for the thread's sake, updates 5 & 6 installed without problems on my SE, you just have to remember to comment out "MODULE Kickstart/uhci.usbhcd" in the kicklayout file each time, before rebooting.Phantom wrote:AmigaOS 4.1 Update 4 is the last I think.

Hi, don't know if this will be of help.
The only thing I had to disable was "MODULE kickstart/uhci.usbhcd" via the installed kicklayout file, if that wasn't done it would hang on a greyed out splash screen.
Onboard ethernet still works and I'm using a generic usb pci card with NEC chip ...
