Samba and OS4.1 Udate 6
I recently made a clean install of OS4.1 update 6. After everything was setup, almost immediately I started experiencing system freezes, sometimes right after boot-up but sometimes later seemingly at random. It took me quite a while to narrow down the cause but it appears to be Samba, namely nmbd ...

Re: Some working USB2 cards
@amigeonefan
I have a Koutech combo card installed in my micro. Appears to be the same one referenced here. USB and SATA both work although there some caveats - you need to disable EHCI in Kicklayout and you can't boot from the SSD. With EHCI enabled, I could never get it to load WorkBench. It ...

Re: MicroA1-C and USB2.0 card
Note: This is a word of caution for micro A1 users who install a PCI USB card that has an onboard 9 pin (internal) header for connecting 2 additional USB ports - such as to the front panel of your case. I found that the USB header on the micro A1 motherboard has a different pinout than conventional ...

Re: MicroA1-C and USB2.0 card
I have installed 2 different USB cards in my micro A1. Both have the VIA VT6212L chipset. I tried numerous times to get the micro (with a fresh install of AOS4.1 update 3) to boot but it kept getting stuck right after the kickstart files were loaded. The AOS4.1 boot splash screen appeared ...
