When updating my A1200 (with Blizzard1230IV/32MB FastRAM) from AmigaOS 3.2 to 3.2.2.1 i got an endless Guru-Bootloop 8002 8001 00006488. It seems to be in connection with the Softkick. Sounds like either your download got corrupted or the write to the USB drive got corrupted .
You can try downloading via Windows and using this tool for Windows to write the usb image .

It seems just the X1000 and 460ex can do it out of the box.

The older 440-Series can´t do it until a sophisticated update-procedure of the onboard-fpga is done so a-cube told me.

For the legacy NC-Amigas (uA1..etc) i don´t know if they support it generally.

The bad news is that the lower end Envy24DT cards do not seem to be supported properly by the Envy24HT driver.
