Re: Can't play sounds in MultiView or DOpus4
I was doing this under WinUAE, so I have tried ES1370 (sb128 device on OS4Depot) and Paula. I didn't and haven't yet tried an mp3, but it looks like thomasrapp has tracked it down to sound.datatype.

Can't play sounds in MultiView or DOpus4
It appears that the classic versions of OS4 can't play sounds using DataTypes. According to one person who checked for me, the problem is on 4.0, 4.1 & 4.1FE.
Double-click on any of the sounds in SYS:Prefs/Presets/Sounds in DOpus4, or try to play them with MultiView, and nothing happens. AHI ...

Re: 4.1 Final doesn't like old OctaMED SoundStudio V1.0.3c
Just wanted to confirm that OctaMED SS 1.03c freezes the system for me also, when quitting on OS4.1 Final Edition. Running MemGuard also freezes the system after a few seconds.

Re: update.library 53.12
This is still an issue with a new install of update 6. It says it can't open update.library 53.13+. I've fixed up now, but you'd expect it to be able to update itself form a fresh install, unless the problem is with the version included in Update 6.

Re: SDK openssl issue
There's a potential conflict either way. If people opt to install libopenssl and want to use it, the renaming is necessary. If people mistakenly install it as part of a batch update, then the dialog box (which doesn't block/halt anything) warns you so you can revert back if you wish. So, I think ...

Re: SDK openssl issue
I'm the one who has currently been maintaining the openssl port on OS4Depot (I hope it's satisfactory. I use a custom RAND_poll function). I haven't personally built anything against AmiSSL, but I'd imagine that it's much easier to just rename those directories when necessary, otherwise you'd have ...

Re: AddNetRoute DSI
No other commands crash.
It is the text output. With the QUIET argument, it works fine.

Re: AddNetRoute DSI
The only reason I didn't provide a crashlog, is because it is very reproducable. Just try to add a default gateway using AddNetRoute (as long as route doesn't already exist), and a DSI occurs.
This forum does not allow attachments (at least not .txt and .lha), so I am unable to attach a crashlog ...

AddNetRoute DSI
Adding a default gateway via AddNetRoute results in a DSI in Update 2. More info if required, but it's straight-forward and easy to reproduce.
Also, it's the only roadshow CLI config tool that doesn't require an argument for the network interface to configure.
