Finally had time to revisit AmigaOS 4.1 FE Classic again and the Update 2.

OK, so I give up with the rtl8029 PCI card. I can't get it to work.
I tried several ENV: settings.
I tried multiple jumper configs on the mediator board.
Nothing works. Maybe I still need to use different VENDORID/DEVICEID settings? The card shows the following:
HT-2100PCI on a sticker and HT-8029as ...

My internet searches do not give definitive answers.

According to HD-zone X-Surf 100 is supported in AOS 4.1 FE Classic. Correct? Which driver to use? I read some drivers are unstable.

What is unclear to me, is the RapidRoad, that sits on top of the X-Surf-100, supported out of the box by AOS 4.1 ...

The only way I got this to finally work was simply installing IDEfix97. But it was my impression that I shouldn't have to do this since AOS4.1 comes with IDEsplitter support out of the box....
