Re: X5000 Fails to Boot Anything Now
Yes, tried several HDMI cables. Do you have any DVI or VGA cable to test with...? Usually they are less problematic than HDMI. It may be that your machine is booting OS4.1 normally but cannot anymore show it on the monitor. Here is my var output from u-boot. Trevor asked me for it. ... amigaboot_qu...

Re: X5000 Fails to Boot Anything Now

Re: Default atime/relatime/noatime setting in Kernel 5.x?
@xeno74 I found out that since v. 2.9.0 of Udisks2 it is possible to set filesystem spesific mount parameters in the file '/etc/udisks2/mount_options.conf'. (http://storaged.org/doc/udisks2-api/latest/mount_options.html). But what is the version of Udisks2 in Fienix, MintPPC and Ubuntu 16.04.7 ? Due...

Default atime/relatime/noatime setting in Kernel 5.x?
What is the default value used in 'our' Kernel 5.x versions for saving time stamps when reading files: atime, relatime or noatime? I know it can be changed in fstsab for individual partitions, but can it be changed systemwide? I'm going to test a SSD drive with amiga Linuxes, and would definitely li...

Re: Transient boot problmes with X5000
@Roland What is the latest status of your X5000 problem ? Did you find a solution ? Now my X5000 developed same MCU Error Led Blinking problem: The standby-leds (green and red) on Cyrus board stay lighted, and the 'MCU error led' is blinking. As the problem has so far appeared only after my machine...

Re: Linux PowerPC Server Software
Please try XRDP: Thank you for your advice! I installed it and modified the "startwm.sh" as you wrote, but when I try to connect from Amiga RDesktop, I get just this error message: ERROR: modulus len 0x108 If I close RDesktop and restart it, and try again to connect, I then get these erro...

Re: Linux PowerPC Server Software
Speaking of servers... What program should I install to Ubuntu, in order to be able to connect to it with 'RDesktop' from AmigaOS?

Should 'Kodi' work in Fienix? It does not start, I always get 'Segmentation fault' when I try to run it. Has it been compiled without 'altivec' if there is an option for it...?

Re: Fienix - New PowerPC Distro
When I today tried to update my Fienix-Soar installation with Synaptic, I found a dependency problem: This was from Linux-Util: E: /tmp/apt-dpkg-install-pzzZyR/10-fienix-gpu-bandage_1.0.1-fienix_powerpc.deb: trying to overwrite '/usr/bin/fienix-gpu-bandage', which is also in package fienix-gpu-reset...
