Exchange window positioning
The window of commodity Exchange is always opens at the top left .. there seems to be no way to open it in another predefined position on the Workbench, nor to save its position at all ! This was of course an old "issue" but still the same even with the latest version of the commodity avai...

Easy to replicate: 1 - Just insert and then playing an audio CD (with TuneNet or whatelse you prefer) 2 - Then close the audio player 3 - Finally eject the CD --> CD icon still in Workbench desktop Besi...

PCI_GamePort.driver caused crash/freeze
In some case the "PCI_GamePort.driver" in AmigaInput prefs need to be unticked/disabled before starting a game A good test example is the old football game Eat The Whistle http://os4depot.net/?function=showfile&file=game/sport/eatthewhistle.lha On X5000 there is a DSI due to PCI_GamePo...

Re: Improve the crashlogs saving in Grim Reaper

Re: Improve the crashlogs saving in Grim Reaper
Well, while various element of the GUI can "freezed" (such the buttons or the resize window gadget) menus in general still continue to work, so eventually we can save logs from them Also there is some more important info that are not saved in the usual crashlog .. f.e. memory dump or disas...

Re: Improve the crashlogs saving in Grim Reaper
@nbache There is already a Save Crashlog button (or is it a menu item, not sure ATM). I know, i can point the save log to any other directory so to not lost it in RAM: However as i said, sometimes this doesn't help either .. because in some particolar condition the GR is unable to save the log .. it...

Improve the crashlogs saving in Grim Reaper
Not everyone have a serial cable today or just doesn't have the necessary knowledge for how to use it properly ... quite often still hard to track informations or even saving properly a crashlog information using Grim Reaper, because some time when an application crashed (and a Grim Reaper window ap...
