Re: So sad, so toxic
It's sad that my thread was closed where i was asking for support material to help out potential collaborateurs avoiding common mistakes or double work reinventing the wheel. I didn't call NinjaCyborg to answer to a thread not targeted at him but was intended to support him ('behind his back'). Ther...

Re: Bluetooth (USB)driver development?
hi NinjaCyborg, i posted this to encourage other people to come out showing their efforts and maybe bundle all things together. What is it roughly that you need? For example: AmigaOS integration? GUI? USB class development on AmigaOS? If you can port a BT stack for use with USB dongles there might b...

Bluetooth (USB)driver development?
As there is currently an offer porting a Bluetooth stack to AmigaOs, is there anything available the work can rely on, say a stub to an USB driver or somebodys previous unreleased work? Or steps one should take care of when interfacing to AOS's USB stack, like any help at all honestly speaking? Here...

Re: Exchange window positioning
Well, then we name that tooltype 'SavePositionTo=' and put some parenthesis around.😄 When the user activates it, then the position is saved. As i said, adding one or two tooltypes in a smart way could do the trick. I don't know what the current menu looks like; often the systems tools haven't got ev...

Re: Exchange window positioning
If the user hides/quit it, it can store the position into the tooltypes for the next time it gets started.
Or even easier store it to an Env variable automatically.
Of course both needs changes at src level.

Re: Exchange window positioning
As Exchange probably scans its tooltypes already, there would be a place.

TextEditor & StringGadget Cursor colour Tags?
Recently while playing with Workbench themes it appears to be seriously difficult to find colour combinations that let the cursor in text fields really pop out, namely in Notepad and other applications using the normal Gadget toolkit (Reaction). I wonder how those colours are being set from the deve...

Re: Any hope for a Wayfarer browser port for OS 4?
A bounty would fail. Nobody is ever gonna pay for a new browser again on Amiga in advance. As for the port: It seems to be quite hard to do it otherwise it would have been done already. I think the Amiga environment is not porting friendly. Therefore it will require some serious craftsmen to do it a...
