Re: x2d() bug

I am not familiar that much with the AREXX subsystem but considering the nature of a 32bit OS and the age of this subsystem this is a mathematically limitation of a signed 32 bit integer. This looping algorithm exceeds the maximum value of a "signed" integer. When the high bit gets set in which is ...

Re: Date & Time will not stay

I hate resurrecting old threads. This seems to be worse now that 4.1.FE update 2 is out.

1. My battery clock does not work at all. Not sure if it ever did. If I un-power(ie turn off Power supply) machine time is reset(brand new batteries).
2. Enhancer has TimeGuard... sorry for crudeness is a ...

Re: Bug in FE Update 2 Date Command

@Neils,

I am pretty sure its not the time server 1.north-america.pool.ntp.org, I reboot my mesh router every night and think its a time overlap that network is just down. So stumbled into this one :lol:

Re: Bug in FE Update 2 Date Command

@Niels,

I have to chuckle as I woke up this morning to this crash. You had recommend to me a while back to replace timeguard(still does not work) with a scheduler that runs DATE SERVER PERFS and sure enough it DSI'd this morning.

Nice to know its issue is a regression.

I think Ill need bit more ...

Updated SDK

Hi I know there was a hope to get updated SDK out last fall 2017 but understood there was some stuff needed to get done to make that happen. Is there anything the public could offer to help or volunteer to see it happen?

Re: X5000 Proven to Work Hardware List

I have been hesitant to buy a new mechanical as some I have tried did not work. Aaron at amigaonthelake suggested Deck Hassium Pro Blue LED Backlit PBT Mechanical Keyboard (Brown Cherry MX).

Works great no errors!

Re: Time

@Thread - Thanks for details on how it works.

I think I figured out the issue. When the DPMS kicks in something is not quite right there. I disabled DPMS and it seems to hold time steady. If I allow DPMS to kick in the time is advancing upon wake up.

Thanks
