Re: USB errors/ USB log problems?
A lot of the USB issues I find on the X5000 are down to the lack of power assigned to the 2 sets of ports USB 0 and USB 1. Think they are capped at 500mA per port i think? I only really worked this out because I kept getting issues where my keyboard or mouse would just lock up , but found that when ...

Re: X5000 hardware and multiple-OS options
Hi Esc I have all three OS's installed on their X5000, but in honesty you will need to decide what is important to you when using the machiine on a day to day basis and where. If 3D is important on Amiga OS then make sure you are using a Southern Islands graphics card (Radeon 7750 or R7 260/270) and...

Re: Fienix - New PowerPC Distro
Been really impressed with Fienix so a big well done to everyone involved in this and for the updates.
My X5000 is getting quite a lot of use across all three OS options.

I have no problem running this from a usb stick, however I from looking at the startup sequence something is not being recognised if someone can advise what the attached means. I wonder if anyone can answer me what the issue could be here? I've bought a Kingston 120Gb SSD drive to use specifically for linux to replace my hard drive. I currently also have two SSD drives running off the onboard sata ports for use with AmigaOS4.1 and i also have a sil3512 Sata controller whic...

Re: Burn CD/DVD on a new X5000
The Onboard Sata driver on the motherboard does not let you burn cds/dvds whilst we are awaiting an update. i have my cd drive linked up via a sil3512 sata controller and you should find you are able to burn a cd/dvd that way.
