Hi Christian,
Due to glitches found. I resolved one of them by replacing my ATAPI optical drive SATA cable. Removed the IDE hard drives completely, SATA header speed and I'm sure bus speed increased as well.
Asus R7 250X shows signs of graphical glitch during initial CFE booting. I will be looking ...

Re: How fix Firefox?
OK, "gtk" problem or not, it seems now to be the same one jdupuis John and everyone else is having. Until today attempts to launch FF brought up a Safe Mode window, not Update, border for a few seconds, so I thought it was a different problem. Today I got an empty Update window border that I had to ...

Re: openSUSE Tumbleweed

Re: openSUSE Tumbleweed
From what I have read 13.2 is at this time built for power5 to power8 processors. 13.1 is for P4/G5. Also I believe
gcc5.3 is used for the 13.2 distro and even if you get it installed there may be problems getting things to work.
It's new, perhaps a P4 product will be along in awhile.

Hi John,
I'm sorry I don't know what happened here. Maybe the installation wasn't successfull.
Cheers,

My apology for the picture quality. Taken by my Galaxy Rugby Pro.
Point: Testing with the R7 250X proving to be a challenge but would like to see it happen.
Counterpoint: Would be very easy to put the 6670 back in and call it good.

Re: openSUSE Tumbleweed
Hi John,
Many thanks for testing! Well done! It's great that you was able to install it with the DVD. The init problem exists because init is on /dev/sdb2 and you boot from /dev/sdb1 . Unfortunately you can't boot from /dev/sdb2 because it is a btrfs partition. Please use one partition with ext4 ...
