I've been able to get Google Maps to partially work in Oddity by setting
it to spoof as "IPad" (in URL Prefs).... Zooming is then controlled by
the scroll-wheel and getting search to work is iffy.
But most of the time, all the bots, trackers and such in Goggles leaves

Re: Is it possible to use the TG-3468 with the X5000?
LOL
As I just posted in the X1K area, I'm using that exact card in my X5K...
TP-Link TG-3468

According to Ranger, it shows up as:

Re: PCIe Gigabit ethernet??
LYLE!
Stranger!!
FWIW, I found a PCIe card with a RTL-8168B chipset that's been working fine
in my X5K (and doesn't even conflict with my PCI audio card!):

Re: Default Programs
Hi Nicsoft,
There are two parts to dealing with files and their "Default Tools"...
First question is: is your "Project" or data file type already recognized?
Just right-click over the file icon and see what the red word at the top of
the Context Menu says. If it says "project", it's not ...

Hi Chris,
@Epsilon.
If you still cant get it to work, I can send you my automated CFE batch flash. I use for every machine I assemble.
It will flash, check then print garbage (CFE bug). If numbers are correct, reboot and happy days.
I'm very curious to hear about that option too... You have ...

Reminder: 2014 AmiWest Programming Jam
Hi all,
Just a reminder for any AmigaOS developers that the AmiWest2014
"Programming Jam" will be starting in just 25 days!
Still time to make your travel plans and sign up for days with the AmigaOS
developers Steven Solie, Tony Wyatt, Andy Broad and others.
It's a rare opportunity to bring ...

Re: Update to DATE breaks Titleclock?
@salass
Not being a TitleClock user, I can't say I know much about it.
But if one wanted to avoid disk access with each Date & Wait command call,
I suppose those two commands could be copied to T: and called from there?
Just add the two copies to the start of the script (ahead of the label)

Re: dvd-ram
Hey guys,
I've been using DVD-RAM's for years on AmigaOS for backups and file
transfers.
You just need to mount the DVD+RW mount file before inserting the disk.
Yes, the disks come UDF formatted, but that leaves them as "read-only" on
AmigaOS (just like on OSX).

Re: Update to DATE breaks Titleclock?
Hey guys,
We were chatting about all this on IRC this afternoon... When I heard
what "TitleClock" was I wondered why you guys hadn't just used the
features of AmigaOS to accomplish what you're looking for.
It was really easy.... A four line CLI script:
lab start
date >env:timeNow
wait 30 secs ...
