Linux forums moved to own category

Dear fellows,

the Linux forums got moved into their own "Linux" category now. Until now they were part of the "AmigaOS" category, which they really didn't belong to. Also a new Linux support forum for A1222 was created.

Re: Bluetooth (USB)driver development?

Yes, there are "wireless USB" headphones, of course. Yet, most wireless headphones are using BT (like my own Sennheiser) so that was an example for a possible use-case of BT audio.

Re: Bluetooth (USB)driver development?

It is not about exchanging or comparing pairing codes, but implementation of the underlying protocol mechanisms. Thinks weren't as medieval as you seem to think with regard to the work flow of pairing on the user's side ;) Bluetooth protocol specifications are nowadays even more of a horde of beasts ...

Re: Bluetooth (USB)driver development?

At least I am mostly active in os4welt.de and only rarely on amigans or amigaworld. But more than here actually ;)

amifrog linked to my reply on os4welt in his thread about your Bluetooth idea. It was funny for me to see somebody else thinking about BT, because I did that 12 years ago ...

Re: Conflict between lsi53c8xx and RadeonHD driver?

Just to let you know, the reason was found and fixed. lsi53c8xx based devices are now working fine on X5000. The components are currently in beta test, but it is not decided yet, when they will be released.
