A1XE Spdif pinout / support

I've tried to make a RCA cable for JP31, I know that the rightmost pin is 5V.
I used the left and center pins for ground and signal in both configurations, but no dice.

Also noticed that AHI doesn't allow output to be set to anything other than line.
IIRC, this was due to licensing costs ...

Level 3 cache not detected

My G4 cpu module has the two CY7C1354BV25-166AXC SRAM chips installed, but neither Ranger and Sysmon is able to detect it.

I've heard that early in the production of the A1XE that they removed the cache to save costs, but does AmigaOS also disable it since then?

Any way to re-enable it?

Re: Shogo OS4: Pressing Tide key causes ISI error and crash

Thanks for looking into this

I haven't been able to find a Autoexec.bat, but I've found a Autoexec.cfg if that is what you want to see.

"numconsolelines" "0"
"LodScale" "2"
"NetLevel0" "Worlds\Multi\OF_SEC1"
"NetMech" "1"
"NetLevel1" "Worlds\Multi\OF_SEC1"
"carddesc" "1342247170 ...

Shogo OS4: Program doesn't properly close

Hello

The game doesn't completely close when I tried to close it via the Exit option in the Main Menu.

The game makes a confirmation sound, but the game window doesn't close
the game stops refreshing the screen but the music keeps on playing.

The system doesn't crash, I can still switch screens ...

Shogo OS4: Changing keybinds causes instant crash

Hello

There seems to be a bug when changing the keyboard controls in the option menu.

The moment I press the enter key to change a keybind, the whole machine crashes.
Not even a Grim Reaper error message shows up.

My machine is an AmigaOne XE with a 7457 @1066Mhz, 1024MB Ram, Radeon 9250 128MB ...

Re: Wireless N Adapters...

Also not quite wireless, but if your house has unused coax cables (analog tv, RF) routed through the whole building
then you can use Directv DECA adapters to convert those to ethernet cables/ send a ethernet signal over them.

Those are very cheap on ebay and can be powered via usb (generation 3), I ...

How to manually start the startup-sequence?

Hello

I've been trouble shooting my machine and I wonder how one can start the startup-sequence
after booting without it via the early startup menu?

I know of typing "loadwb" in shell to start workbench but startup-seqeunce can be activated by shell as well right?

If my memory serves me it was ...

Re: How to revert to 2.X/3.X mouse pointer?

Thank you Andy

Perhaps a Checkbox in the Pointer pref to switch between old and new pointer would be handy?

e.g. "Use Classic Pointer"

Otherwise the use of the pointer pref might be confusing to new comers
and if the old pointers show up in more user screenshots due it being easier to switch to ...
