Re: Updated Python3.x series
I know this is an old thread but is there any progress on updating Python for OS4.1?

Re: No sound in sam640LE
I have found that if you go into prefs -> Sound and test the startup sound, I get nothing. If I click on "mode settings" and select Unit 0, I can play a test sound. If I then go back to "Sound Settings" tab, my startup file will play. However, if I close Sound Pref and reopen it, I have the same ...

Grim Reaper Exception codes
Can anyone direct me to a page that interprets these codes? OS3.1 has a list of what they mean to give you a general area to start troubleshooting. I seem to be getting these more on my X5040 than I do my SAM460LE.

Re: X5040 ByTech Backlite USB Keyboard
I found a work around for Amiga OS4.1FE but not the kickstart. I found a Thermaltake Ttesports KB-CMC-PLBD backlit keyboard. It has just what I want. It came with matching red led backlit mouse. The only issue is that Kickstart screen does not recognize it for some reason but OS4.1FE does. Once AOS ...

Re: X5040 ByTech Backlite USB Keyboard
Lets try this another way. Has anyone successfully added a backlit keyboard to their X5000? If so, what brand and model? I can just return this one I bought and get a compatible one. I was thinking of trying a Logitech or Apple. According to the compatibility list, these USBs work but it does not ...

X5040 ByTech Backlite USB Keyboard
I purchased a nice ByTech backlite USB keyboard for my X5000. During the Splash screen, the keyboard lights up and then goes out. When it boots up in the Uboot screen, I get a bunch of errors and then finally boots. When it first boots, the keyboard works as a keyboard but to turn on the backlights ...

X5040 Sapphire Radeon R9 280x
I am having an OpenGL issue with my Sapphire Radeon R9 280x video card. I have the latest Enhancer 2.2 CD installed. First, the OS sees it as 7900 Series card and according to Ranger, it is using PCIGraphics.card 53.18 and CHIP: RadeonHD.chip 3.7

I am only going to run AmigaOS4.1FE or later. Is it a solid board for AmigaOS?
