Itl looks GREAT! Thank You, Hypex.
It seems I have to reinstall my Debian installation on X1000 soon.
There was allways mess with kernels and setup different menu entries via CFE was very boring.

Re: Pegasos2 Tips & Tricks
I just can't chill out about non-booting from the Sii3114, as I clearly see it in devices, can list it, etc. It looks like just a matter of some settings .. but well. I was playng with it when I overclocked Pegasos and don't succeed. I stop examining it, because IDE slot is free and is very easy to...

Re: Pegasos2 Tips & Tricks
Anyway, I read a few days ago that Zoltan (this one who works on QEMU) add pegasos2 support to QEMU (very beta, all in the beginning for now). But then, he has a plan to rewrite OF. Maybe (just maybe), we can use later that rewritten OF where if possible can be added features such as booting from s...

Re: Pegasos2 Tips & Tricks
Did anyone were able to boot from the SII314 card directly? AFAIK the OF only boots from the IDE bus. It is a Peg. OF limitation. Just as the required PS2 keyboard. This information about PS/2 is caused by reading the Pegasos 2 manual. I made the same mistake. In manual also mentioned, that OpenFir...

Re: Pegasos2 Tips & Tricks
Wait, but we also can't boot from Sii3114 as well? I mean, we can't both from both. Or with Promise one there is just a new issue about morphos you describe but in terms of "boot from" they both "useless"? I will explain. Imagine three usecases - IDE, SII 3x1x and Promise. I ass...

Re: Pegasos2 Tips & Tricks
@kas1e yes, you are right. Speed of SATA HDD or SSD is pactically the same with SiI 3xxx and with IDE->SATA adapter ( I tested Axago). But only with standart CPU clockspeed 1GHz. Here is my old results: https://forum.hyperion-entertainment.com/viewtopic.php?p=47924#p47924 . Lines with red crosses ar...

I use SiI3114 for Amigaos and Morphos, but as lazi said, it cannot boot directly from it. You still need booting partition on ide IDE ...

Re: Anyone got Fienix to run?
I have, of course, tried to drop the whole "LABEL=" part from the CFE line, but that didn't help. FIENIX-DISK does not exist! I'm out of ideas. I dont'know, if I remember it exactly, it is some time ago when I istalled Fienix. Please, take it like advice and not exact manual. I do not boo...
