It feels snappy
Hi Skateman,
Many thanks for testing the RC3-2! Have you really noticed the optimization of the preemptible kernel? I am not sure but I have the feeling that it works a little bit faster if I work with typical desktop applications. It can also be an illusion that it works faster.
Cheers,
Christian

Allan
Hi Allan,
Great news! Could you please tell Hans that it works with the latest HID fixes?
Hey Christian,
When is the next long-term support kernel? I want to include it in the next Fienix release. I'm excited about the preemptible kernel config!

Screenshot of Fienix PowerPC with the RC4 of kernel 5.3 and with Mac OS X 10.5.8 Leopard PowerPC in a virtual QEMU/KVM-PR machine:
@SailorMH
Please test the kernel with your CF cards.
@Allan (Ace)
Please test the kernel with your ATI FirePro 2260. Could you please tell Hans that your Logitech USB wireless mouse works with the latest HID fixes?
@Mechanic
Please test the kernel with your JMB363 card.
@Darren
Could you please submit your new pcmcia patch to the kernel developers?
