I have one 7750 and 1 x Firepro (I removed the out hdmi cable from this card). Using Kernel 5 rc7 (not the special one you made for me with no DRM changes) the system boots using the hdmi output from the 7750 but it is in fact the Firepro providing the output (weird me thinks!). All works well with acceleration. Basically I save one input slot on my monitor now -:) So yes I would say kernel 5 solves the issue.

Here is the stable kernel 4.20.16 for the X5000 and X1000. :-)

New:
  • X5000: P5040 device tree blob (dtb)
  • X1000: compressed kernel (zImage) and uncompressed kernel (vmlinux)
  • Linux Git log
It also includes:
  • Support for dual graphics cards. For example an AMD Radeon HD 7750 for hardware 3D acceleration on OS4.1 and an ATi Firepro 2260 for hardware 3D acceleration on Linux PPC together in a X5000.

Hi All,

I released the stable kernel 4.20.17 for the X5000 and X1000 today. :-)

New:
  • X1000: pata_of_platform-v2_4.20 patch for solving the issues with new CF cards connected to the onboard CompactFlash Card Slot
  • X1000: disabling the kernel config options CONFIG_PATA_PCMCIA, CONFIG_PCMCIA, and CONFIG_ELECTRA_CF for the pata_of_platform-v2_4.20 patch
  • Linux Git log
It also includes:
