Hi All,

Linus Torvalds has released the Linux 5.0 stable kernel. Originally began this as the Linux 4.21 kernel development.
The great news is, that the Linux 5.0 kernel supports our A-EON X1000 (Nemo board) by default now.
We had some problems with two graphics cards in a X5000. Using hardware 3D acceleration with an ATi FirePro works again if a second SI graphics card is installed.

Many thanks to Darren for the integration of our X1000 to the mainline kernel! :-) Thanks a lot to all beta testers for testing the alphas and release candidates! :-)

FYI As a test i have used the cyrus_5040.dtb on my 5020 board. I does work but the onboard ethernet adapters wont get probed.

Looks like apologies are in order. Upon playing around with your latest kernel I found the other card i my machine was in fact a Radeon HD5750 not a HD7750 as I thought. Hence that card is compatible with Linux for acceleration so in essence the DRM issue has not been solved, I have had to revert to your last No-DRM Compile. Apologies for the confusion. I only found it because I bought a low profile R7 240 for my SAM 460ex where I had put my 250E whilst refurbishing, found the card details when putting my 250E back in X5000.

I'll go and hide now.

Never mind. It's good to know that this issue still exists. Please post the link to the bug report. Maybe we can solve the issue during the kernel 5.1 development.

Also when booting into Linux I get a lot of output from Dmseg regarding my sil3512. I have read that the card needs to be configured as raid, any idea how to do that?

Cheers
