adding a "switch off" command

Post by ZeroG »

It would be nice if a "switch off" command could be added to the OS.
This is something that should be handled by the os in a consistent way. Currently there a different programms on os4depot.
I know it's not possible to support this for all OS4 machines, but it is possible for the sam440ep, sam440flex, sam460ex, peg2, x1000.
On not supported machines (CyberstormPPC, BlizzardPPC, and the old A1s) the command could simply fail and print a short message.

Yes, this has already been addressed, and is currently being tested.

Did you try Poff from os4depot? :-) Only sam460 and X1000 supported in current version.
