Hi All,

There was an issue with rebooting the Tabor board. I successfully modified the code for the reboot support. Now you can reboot the Tabor board without any problems.

Download: linux-image-5.3-rc6-3-A1222.tar.gz (including a new Tabor patch and kernel config)

BTW, I successfully tested Fienix on the Tabor board yesterday.

Screenshot of Fienix on the Tabor board:

PLEASE PLEASE test the RC6 on the X1000, X5000 and A1222. It's very important, that you test the new kernels.

Thanks,
Christian

I would love to help you out with testing the kernels, but without the possibility to buy the Tabor hardware its a no go! I have tried to apply for some beta testing by sending a mail but never got any response. I have contacted Trevor who redirects me back to Matthew.......

I haven't been keeping up. Finally got a 5.3, fienix only, so far.
Lack of practice plus creeping dementia made it a hard change. Tried Ubuntu first, but it kept telling me my SD card was neither a file nor a directory. Fienix much nicer, and the kernel is now where it belongs.
Something else I don't remember. Does this look right, have I done the module properly?

Code: Select all

fienix@Fienix:~$ ls /
bin dev home lost+found mnt proc run srv tmp var
boot etc lib media modules root sbin sys usr
fienix@Fienix:~$ ls /modules
5.3.0-rc6_A-EON_X5000
On Ubuntu I can easily use Hyperion Message Boards with Arctic Fox. Why do I always have to log in if I go there on Fienix? I always end up switching to New Moon, which knows who I am.

On the login page, there's a checkbox "login automatically each visit" or similar.

Did you forget to set that?

It saves the choice as a cookie locally in the browser, i.e. it has to be set for each browser in each system.
