The merge window has been opened this week and it was added a lot of new source code for the future kernel 5.1.

New:
- Linux 5.1 switches the PowerPC port to use the generic swiotlb and noncoherent dma ops, and to use more generic code for the coherent direct mapping, as well
- Linux 5.1 Continues The Years-Long Effort Preparing For Year 2038
- Linux 5.1 Should Sound Great... Well, At Least Work With More Audio Hardware
- Linux 5.1 Networking Changes See Intel 22260 WiFi Support
- Linux Git log
- Phoronix articles, reviews and news stories covering Linux 5.1
- X1000: compressed kernel (zImage) and uncompressed kernel (vmlinux)
