Hi all,
I don't use Linux too much, just to scan with my Deskjet 1050. However, today I tried to scan and found that it couldn't find my scanner. I can certainly see it in Printer prefs.
I thought I used xsane, but didn't see it in the menu for some reason. (I also have Simple Scan installed, but I don't think I ever used it). Re-installed xsane, but when I start it, it complains it can't find the scanner.
Does anyone have any suggestions?
I'm using Ubuntu 16.04.5 LTS MATE 1.12.1 kernel 4.4.8-cyrus-1b ppc64
Thanks.
Unable to scan
Re: Unable to scan
Never mind - I unplugged and re-plugged my scanner, now it works fine.
