Well, I tried Gnash under Debian 64bit and Lightspark under Debian 32bit with Firefox... When starting the selector, the former one opened an empty window, and the latter one just crashed. But both were clearly recognized as flash, there was not any error message. Maybe the next versions... :-)

Roland, if you add the contrib component of the Debian 32-bit repo, try "browser-plugin-freshplayer-pepperflash". It is a conversion of the Chrome PPAPI Flash plug in to Firefox's NPAPI plugin format. I have not installed this package myself because I have no use for Flash so I do not know if it will work.

Adelie linux Powerpc32

Don't have time to try an installation myself but made an X5000 ramdisk and compiled a kernel with the required overlay file support required if anyone wants to try .

Base Install Howto
https://wiki.adelielinux.org/wiki/HOWTO ... 9lie_Linux

Powerpc iso Full
https://distfiles.adelielinux.org/adeli ... 180426.iso

Or
Powerpc iso live
https://distfiles.adelielinux.org/adeli ... 180426.iso

ISO cand be dd'd to a USB drive. It wont show as a regular drive but does boot.

X5000 4.16.7 Kernel with builtin overlay file system support

X5000 Uboot Ramdisk_adelie-ppc32-1
http://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/s/n3g3 ... c32-1?dl=0
Rename a copy of the ramdisk to uRamdisk and boot with the following basic ramdisk booting lines :

usb reset
fatload usb 0:1 1000000 uImage-cyrus
fatload usb 0:1 1c00000 cyrus_5020.dtb
fatload usb 0:1 2000000 uRamdisk
bootm 1000000 2000000 1c00000

Untested X1000 Ubuntu-Mate 16.04 Net install initrd
Simple conversion of the X5000 ramdisk so should work with any Radeon card up to Radeon SI .
Installed xorg.conf uses fbdev so for 3D acceleration for Northern Island cards delete the org.conf after installation.

Yes Rastafari !! .

I was unable to complete more than a basic install of Debian ppc32 due to a mirror error. Would this have happened due to Debian changing the mirror addresses? Is there an updated installer?

No new installer yet.
I am waiting for a new ramdisk that allows selecting the new server: ftp.ports.debian.org .
The powerpc files are no longer on the main Debian Mirrors .
So only current option is to do the basic install then change your sources.list and install the new key .
http://forum.hyperion-entertainment.biz ... 043#p45138
Then install the desktop etc .

The issue I run into is that the basic installer doesn’t include gnupg; which is required to import a key, and I could not apt-get install gnupg without the key, even when I included —allow-unauthorized.
