I successfully upgraded my ubuntu MATE 16.04.4 LTS to version 16.04.5 on my AmigaOne X5000 today.

Upgraded my X5000 to 16.04.5 ... no problems at all!

I also used a cheap Acer USB to LAN adapter and this worked out of the box... 10Mbps ..

I was able to update my ubuntu MATE 16.04.5 LTS PowerPC today. Here is my sources.list:

Several persons here have reported they updated succesfully their Ubuntu Mate to version 16.04.5... How can that update be done?!? At least in my Ubuntu 16.04.4 'Software Updater' does not offer that upgrade...

Both commands gave me the following error message:

E: Could not get lock /var/lib/dpkg/lock - open (11: Resource temporarily unavailable)
E: Unable to lock the administration directory (/var/lib/dpkg/), is another process using it?

I think the problem was with the user privileges... I was able run the commands from an user account set to 'administrator'. The original 'amigaone' account does not have that chosen, it's type is 'custom'. The upgrade was now installed without problems. Thanks!-)
