openSUSE_13.1_kernel_3.14_Sam440ep-Flex.jpg
Hi,

I've decompressed the X1000 version of the openSUSE 13.1 archive file on my Sam440ep Flex. And then I have copied the Sam kernel 3.14 modules directory to the openSUSE partition. And it boots and works. :-) But there are 2 main problems. I can't configure the network device and X11 has wrong colors. The screenshot above has the right colors. That's strange.

Nice.
Try the following xorg.conf. This is the original Debian one on Acube's CD that I have used for all my installations.
https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/542 ... .conf-flex

What does your /etc/network/interfaces look like ?

Thank you. I'll try it in the evening.

Unfortunately, this xorg.conf doesn't solve the problem with the wrong colors. I've tested it with the kernel 3.14.

The directory /etc/network/interfaces doesn't exist. There is a directory /etc/sysconfig/network. YaST doesn't recognise a network device on my Sam440ep Flex. The command "dhcpcd eth1" works. :-)
