What you need to do is at the end off the install istead of ending select go back and form the menu select start a shell termonal (Or whtat ever the option is)
for this terminal do
cd /tagert/boot
have a look at the menu.lst to see the partition number for linux in the sdax format .
then use this partition number for the a1boot.conf file example in the dual boot guide .

in meantime i solved the problem with my DVD player, it wasn't a problem of it but CD recorded in a wrong way by PC / Windows, i burned it with AmiDVD and now it's ok, thanks.

I've installed Lubuntu 14.04 on my Sam440ep Flex rev 2 (733 MHz, ATi Radeon 9250 PCI 128 MB VRAM). It works very well with kernel 3.12.5. But with kernel 3.13.0 and radeon.dpm=0, Xorg works with the framebuffer driver and with only 8 colors.
