Retro Style simple CD/DVD Burning Program

Post by jdupuis »

Hi!
New User on the block but an old Amiga guy. Thought I would request a simple CD/DVD burning and creator program for .iso, data and copying. Having the same retro style GUI, screen prompts, beeps and menu as Mavericks 5.0. Is this doable or makes sense? Just a simple point click and copy and looks like you're running Mavericks on the AmigaOne. Maybe I'm too new and there is something better that I have not discovered yet. I just think this would be a nostalgic add on. Thanks.

Have you tried AmiDVD? Believe it comes on the FE disc, I also find MakeCD useful for burning MP3s to make a regular audio CD. MakeCD is pretty retro.

Sure did. I love AmiDVD. I was not sure quite how to word my request.
A simple quick point and click CD/DVD copier that resembles Mavericks 5.0 is what I was trying for in my request. Thought a quick copier that looked like Mavericks would be useful and nostolgic. Not taking away from AmiDVD, of course.
I have MakeCD installed in OS 3.9 on my A3000. Love it too. I can burn discs and add to my A3000. CD swapping with my AmigaOne. Very nice indeed. Cheers!!
